Antique reproduction dolls, French

Do you need eyes, a composition or cloth body or a handmade mohair or human hair wig? Let us know when you order, and Tatie will quote you a price.

The antique reproduction dollmaker uses molds cast from an original antique doll, -- with its expression, original dollmaker mark, and all. Using a picture of the original, the dollmaker recreates every eyelash, every eyebrow hair, the shape of the lips and the blush of the cheeks as close to the original as possible. The doll is then completed with mohair or human hair wig, glass eyes, composition or cloth body and costume -- all appropriate to the original doll's era.

For dolls where the "head only" prices are indicated, a handmade composition body is available for a price ranging from $20 to $40. Simply include #COMPO on your order.

Dolls are made by certified Doll Artisan Tatie (French for "auntie"), who is meticulous in the exact reproduction of your doll and who will dress her in just the right heirloom couture.
